Experience Profile:

I have been teaching elementary, middle school, high school, university, and adult students in South Korea for several years now. I have taught regular adult Comprehensive English courses for 17 months in South Korea. Formerly, I taught Comprehensive English to business executives working in the Industrial Trades, Chemical, or Power Industries in Korea.

In the People's Republic of China, I taught the Engineering staff at Kangtai Biological Co. Ltd. an intensive Comprehensive English course for 4 months. I have lectured in the Faculty of Education at Shenzhen University for the 2002/2003 academic semesters. Furthermore, I taught university and adolescent students my Comprehensive English course at the Guangzhou South China English School in their boarding school on the campus of SZU for 8 months. Actually, my earliest appointments in teaching (ESL) English as a Second Language was in Mazatlan, Mexico in 1999.

I can create daily lesson plans, syllabus outlines, and teach from a regular self-directed curriculum. Outside of my regular classroom teaching hours, I spend time editing student assignments or correcting tests and weekly quizzes and monthly exams. On a daily basis. I teach both independently and complimentarily with other Korean co-teachers. I currently teach at both elementary and middle school levels. I love my job teaching! I look forward to teaching for years to come in South Korea.

My Hobbies/Special Interests:

I enjoy all outdoor recreational sports including bicycle touring, inline skating, ice skating, hockey, water polo, rock climbing, hiking, camping, and swimming. My recent adventures took me across the Korean peninsula during the Korean Chuseok holidays. I bicycled from the northeastern city of Sokcho in Gangwon-do (Province) to the city of Busan in Gyeongsangnam-do (Province) in 6 days. The total distance was approximately 455km's and it took me 40 hours to complete the entire trip! I enjoy Korean culture, language, music, food, traditions, holidays and the people. I have a family now in Korea, so I plan to live here for years to come. Please enjoy the slideshow! Happy New Year 2008! ^^++
